La Dolce Vita
Set in a delightful little courtyard La Dolce Vita offers some of the best Western food in Dali, cooked by a chef who has worked at some of the finest restaurants in Shanghai. This place offers the best of everything, amazing pastas, perfect pizzas, the best burger in Dali, and the best chicken kiev in the world! Not to be missed.
An 1950s style American diner, serving up traditional American Diner food. From breakfasts, to Burgers, to a range of delicious cakes, this popular place on Gwang Wu Lu is worth a visit.
This is a lovely relaxing place, that is still finding its feet and trying to finalise its menu. A little pricey but looks to be heading in the right way. The artichoke bruschetta is a delight.
Manolitos Fish and Chips
The menu goes beyond just traditional fish and chips, but these are definitely worth a go. This is also a good late-night spot that seems to be open when everywhere has closed.
A pizza joint at the top of Renmin Lu serving up some great pizzas and also a range of houmus and bread. Owned by the people behind Climb Dali, upstairs they have a small climbing wall that is fun for kids.
La Stellas has been serving traditional wood fired pizzas to a loyal clientele for many years. On a street of ever changing businesses La Stella’s appeal has endured.
Cafe de Jack
Another business that has been around for years, Cafe de Jack serves a broad range of western dishes. The balcony upstairs is a great place to people-watch.
Becoming a very popular place thanks to its good food and friendly service. They offer a broad range of international dishes including Mexican and Italian choices, and are probably the only place in town to offer a kids menu. Tucked away on the western side of Honglongjing (the water street), this place is worth a visit.
